13U and under

Ages 4-13

USSSA Baseball 13U and under requires a bat marked USSSA 1.15 BPF, USA Baseball (USABat), BBCOR .50 or Solid one-piece wood. Typically ages 4-13.

Rule 7.01.C: USSSA 1.15 BPF mark, BBCOR .50, or wood (licensed USSSA manufacturer). Rule 7.01.D: USA Baseball-marked bats legal except where BBCOR is required. 13U max drop -8 (drop limits not modeled in v1).

14U

Ages 14-14
BBCOR .50Solid one-piece wood

USSSA Baseball 14U requires a bat marked BBCOR .50 or Solid one-piece wood. Typically ages 14-14.

Starting 1/1/2026, -3 BBCOR is the 14U national standard: BBCOR or wood unless the event's state has adopted the -5 exception (1.15 BPF max drop -5). The state exception is not modeled in v1 — national standard recorded.

Scholastic / 15U+

Ages 15-18
BBCOR .50Solid one-piece wood

USSSA Baseball Scholastic / 15U+ requires a bat marked BBCOR .50 or Solid one-piece wood. Typically ages 15-18.

Rule 7.01.C.3: scholastic (high school) divisions conform to NFHS bat standards — BBCOR .50 mark or wood, -3 minus factor (drop limits not modeled in v1).
